Wasn’t that meant to be Rajan’s job - left too soon?

I’m guessing late-stage hitler didn’t end up babbling endlessly about abolishing light-saving time though…

Certainly 'snappier'

The propaganda around inheritance tax is heightened by generations quickly getting poorer - inheriting a house is the only way some will manage in old age. The untruths/cover up of how many of us will actually be affected by IHT at any of the proposed levels is insidious.

I think you need to go and attempt to understand what liberal and progressive Zionism means. The fact we’re arguing over the motion proves what a mess all of this is…
October 5, 2026 at 4:08 PM
You’re angry and not listening - I oppose the genocide and am a member of the Green Party. This motion targets progressive Jewish allies as much as it does far right zionists who are the problem I have every right to call out a motion which will objectively do more harm than good
October 5, 2026 at 3:38 PM
You also have to carefully define who you’re targeting- if you’re prepared to throw liberals and progressives under the bus, however well-meaning your aims, then that’s not something I would be on board with. There’s plenty of scope for highlighting the genocide without this mess

It’s just objectively untrue if you understand that progressive and liberal Zionism exists

Or put all the leadership team in this impossible position. I think our success in such a short space of time combined with our democratic system for motions has come to a head here. We obviously don’t want to change either of these things but we’re certainly in a tough place now
October 4, 2026 at 7:30 PM
Very saddened as a member that voted against the motion. It would seem the party has been derailed by a group who don’t represent the wider views of the party that don’t understand that Zionists come in all shapes and sizes (even if the media insist on giving more air time to the hard right ones)…
October 4, 2026 at 7:24 PM
I think the main issue is that there’s no understanding that progressive Zionists exist (that could help their cause). It doesn’t help of course that we seldom hear from these people in the media.
October 4, 2026 at 5:21 PM
Indeed - I think (as a member) that this is going to cause the Party a lot of grief. I think there's an issue here with how much we've grown quickly and our democratic approach to policy making. I don't want to change either and struggling to see how this can change in the short term

And over on the ‘other place’ Rachel from Piddington is being subjected to the most awful racist bigotry and calls for her to be deported. I really hope she’s ok after this. Just goes to show how far gone the ‘protect are wimmin’ brigade are now.

I find her an interesting character - having had to resign from the CPS for political remarks and stepping down as a candidate for Rotherham MP I do wonder how losing the London mayoral election will affect her.

Can’t help but think the lights are designed to be that low so that delegates feel comfortable they won’t get recognised - it does look very seedy and he is deep into his Trumpian tribute act

I have to pay more and more per month for products from Adobe that allow me to do my day-to-day creative job whilst watching them produce ‘lite’ versions of the same products that allow people to use AI to create instant, derivative, versions of my (and other’s) work. I guess I’m a ‘gatekeeper’…
