Currently debating with my youngest on whether rabbits are immoral. 🐇 (How did I get here? 🤔) Kid says rabbits are evil. I say they were influenced by Monty Python at a very young age. Kid says cats are moral, which has led to a disussion of what, precisely, morality IS.

I really miss small independent vets. We used to have a wonderful vet who was SO practical & caring (long retired now). Now I'm getting squeezed harder & harder with higher costs & pressure to do everything (or else I'm a bad person). I want to take the best care of them, but I also need groceries!!

- Get all your papers in order, for all your family members. Birth certs, IDs, vax records, marriage certs, citizenship docs, etc. Get passports.
- Check your voter registration. Is it active? Has your assigned location changed? Do you need to update anything?

At family funeral, Southern Baptist pastor reads list of close family members. The deceased's adult daughter has been in a same-sex relationship for over 30 yrs. At "[name] & her partner [name]", pastor hesitated briefly- unable to say "partner", said "friend" instead & moved on. Pissed me off.

Sigh. Attended a funeral on my Southern Baptist, Alabama roots side of the family. I still can't wrap my head around how actually intelligent, caring people can still be all-in for Trump and the GOP at this point. So nice to see these people, and yet SO uncomfortable at the same time.
