I think 'fandoms' will always be primarily a male dominated space for things like star wars, marvel, et cetera. So many fans will treat it as a personal attack when you ask them to not be a fucking creep.

With the EA buyout nows a good story to share that the sims never would've been successful without Lesbians. No really.

So. Marvel wrote a story implying one of my favorite comic character, Magik, was SA'd and enslaved by people that had also SA'd and enslaved her as a child.
SA can be written about in comics. But using it as a glorified excuse to turn a character into a villain is gross.

The hate around Caitlyn from Arcane is odd to me. Like people seem to miss the entire plot point about how it wasn't a 'villain turn' but a woman whose grief was weaponized and manipulated. She is a victim of manipulation. That was literally the plot. Did people fall asleep for that part?
