One thing I've noticed is how much people are still shying away from talking about the looming societal/collective depression and fear that's infected us. I've survived a lot of things, but I think this ranks up there with the worst of my battles. People seem to be meaner than they used to be.

Mamdani is writing the playbook for how Democrats must continue to communicate with voters after Election Day. He could have done the usual thing and disappear after winning but if anything he’s communicating even MORE now.

Even as the world comes crashing down, I am reminded that the only truth that truly matters is Love. I wish it was a Universal concept instead of being used as a tool for destruction by faces that are many but their true selves. Love is a language; it should be honest and honored.
