Just seen Danny Tommo referred to as "Captain Thugwash" and seriously, that's excellent work.

I mean, I would accept going back to at least *the appearance of* government anticorruption, at this point. I’d consider that a win.

Palantir have just bought themselves a Labour Lord with close links to the Labour government.

No other word to describe this other than corruption.

How can Watson remain a member of the House of Lords and keep the Labour whip?

The Guardian fired the excellent Dawn Foster, a disabled working class journalist, after Watson (then Labour's Deputy Leader) and his people had a fit at her incisive piece about him being a detriment to the Labour at that time (2019), which I would argue contributed to her death two years later.
Important to understand: Tom hasn’t *just recently* taken a job promoting and protecting the interests of Labour’s corporate friends, by getting his journo mates to print articles bigging up their business and shitting all over the left. That was always his job.

A short thread on “legitimate concerns”. The phrase is used repeatedly by UK government ministers. The Home Secretary is at it again this week. But only ever - as far as I can tell - in one context: people’s response to the arrival of asylum seekers.

Please read whole 🧵before responding - thanks

"According to the report, Kraft told the English singer that Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie had aligned in joining him to oust Macklemore."
Is it a genocide? There are members of Netanyahu's administration who are calling for the extermination of the Palestinians. You have 75K dead, including 21,000 kids. Gaza is piles of rubble.

Anti-Macklemore faction, when would you consider it a genocide? www.the-independent.com/arts-enterta...

This guy is going to be invited on Question Time and we're going to get a fresh round of "sunlight is the best disinfectant" as whatever forces ride his coattails get every single policy objective handed to them for the next 15 years.
‘Danny Tommo’, leader of the balaclava-clad blackshirt rallies, says he will travel to Piddington “in the coming days” following the Parish Council’s stunt referendum: “I want to hear about safety concerns for their women and children.” Tommo was jailed for two years in 2016 for a knifepoint kidnap.
