Had a Saturday off and did a spot of watercolour painting with Abi at Tipperleyhill. It was good to get painting again. #watercolourpainting #tipperleyhill

I have admitted defeat to the toilet seat! I’ll buy a new one next week. I had a perfectly good toilet seat (it was 10 years old), but it was on the flimsy side. My new one was more substantial & it was “self closing”. I have repaired it twice and after several hours and sore knees, I am defeated!

Did a clear out of my embroidery back (where I store my supplies)! I discovered that I have a considerable stash of linen/Cotten fabric. I found a canvas for my next project (Christmas tree) & I found an experiment I started last year. It’s good to have a clear out!

2024 was a year of struggle and procrastination. It was not fun! Last year I purchased A Year of Nothing from The Pound Project. This year I decided I would go through the books monthly to try and reconnect with myself and stop the procrastination. There are prompts at the end of each month.
