People think: wow, her floors are so clean 😔 how does she do it?
But they don't know the sacrifice. They don't know that while she vacuums, her children have to *mediate their own disputes* while their mom gestures "I can't hear you" over the welcome roar of the vacuum

Trash day
Unloading the groceries

i know it's cringe to post star wars as ~revolution~ or whatever, & that's not what this is, but I do think about this sequence from Andor a lot bc I know how paralyzing it is to feel overwhelmed. So, I'll continue working in the lanes where I feel the most needed/helpful.

Speechless. As attorneys, we are officers of the court--of the justice system. We have a legal, ethical, and moral obligation to uphold the rule of law. This is antithetical to everything our profession demands.

Sometimes, my daughter says something and I'll think: you are the kindest sweetest smartest person on the planet and I don't know why, but I get to experience magic in this moment & for that, I am lucky. For that, good job mama for having the luck to grace the same world as this tiny fairy being.
