The one novella I keep rereading is by night in chile. Bolaño is pretty hit or miss with his more modest work. Probably the most tight, meaningful piece he’s ever written.

The Summer When Hikaru Died is an interesting series to me, in that, I feel dead-set on finishing it because the art is really great but it’s an absolute slog to read through.

It really is a shame with Yukio Mishima because Confessions of a Mask and Sea of Fertility tetralogy are really great to read and analyze, that I have to be suspicious if a man says something positive about him.

When I was younger and still scared about my sexuality, I found comfort in furry art and yaoi. It’s actually funny how warped my aesthetic sensibilities have become because of that.
