A character sheet for my original character Fynn Volkov. Expressions at the top, and a lineup of him as an adult, teen, and child at the bottom. For the expression section, two are glaring at each other, as if they are different characters. One says "You make it so easy, boy. It's no wonder that girl manipulates you with no more than a sad look in her eye." The other replies "That 'girl' is my wife." Text to the side reads: Fynn hasn't gone through as much visual development as Lazuli, but his *character* development has been astronomical. I'm so excited to watch him suffer. Toonish illustrations of Fynn and Lazuli, with her in his lap and grinning, and another with Fynn using magenta lightning magic, followed underfoot by his dachshunds. Text reads: His last name, Volkov, is the Russian name "wolf," mirroring Lazuli's. He's incredibly sentimental about Laz, his mom, and his dogs. His devotion is often misguided though. His dogs are named Heckyl and Jeckyl, by the way. He named them as a kid when he was first learning to write.

Character sheet showing older designs for the main character of my comic, from a more plain shawl and dress to a more detailed Leine and Girdle design with accessories. Text reads: I've always been very interested in pre-colonial Irish culture and fashion. Lazuli's dress is modeled after the "Leine" - a long tunic or dress made from fine linen and dyed bright yellow using saffron. Lazuli's final design for the comic. Her adult, ten, and child versions on top with some expressions below. Text reads: My style has changed as much as Lazuli herself has. It still carries some aspects over, but has solidified more and more. Her name, Felcu, means "Wolf." I derived it from the Irish term for a wolf-dog, "Faoil Cú," since she is not entirely wild.

In the highest window of the spire is stain glass in the shape of an eye. Converging at the start is a large vortex spiraling and expanding through the whole sky. The vortex is pulling party’s of the building up towards it and cracking parts of the wood and foundation. The vortex is casting light and highlights on the building and the tress behind it. Converging towards the building is a circle of 12 white bird silhouettes. Swatch pattern card on top of matching pattern background. Swatch card is a large white rectangle with a square swatch of the NESS magazine brand pattern I designed in the 2025 summer issue colour-way. Swatch card has font at the bottom corner that read “BABE&OAK endpage repeat pattern summer 2025 client: NESS magazine” and the stamp for Babe&Oak in the bottom right corner.
