These pieces include my Sailor Moon, dual phoenixes and Rei’s Phoenix sister variants: little Rei w/Biyomon and Kurenai Mars.
A few more pieces for my Hoo Core/Eclipseverse series featuring my take on the Sailor Guardians and their amazing super friends. Sailors Mars and Moon are the respective co-leads of this series. The colored version of my interpretation of Sailor Moon and Luna. In the Hoo Core/Eclipseverse, Usagi is leader of the Sailor Eclipse Guardians and one of leaders of the Eclipse Alliance. Her design borrows from both the Super and Eternal Moon design and her colors & aesthetics are mainly borrowed from the Egyptian Goddess Ma’at. In the Eclipseverse continuity, the Sailor Eclipse Guardians were once ancient Egyptian lunar aliens with some Greek influence. A few more pieces for my Hoo Core/Eclipseverse series featuring my take on the Sailor Guardians and their amazing super friends. Sailors Mars and Moon are the respective co-leads of this series. Little Rei Hino/Tamer Mars is the youngest Hoo Core sister variant from an alternate Digimon Earth. Partnered with Biyomon, she is a Tamer with a Digivice linked to her Hoo Core. These two synch up their powers to give Biyomon the power to evolve into Phoenixmon. Little Rei is also capable of flight and fiery power that lets her fight with her Hoo Core sisters and Biyomon. She is besties with Chibiusa. She looks up to her big sister variants Rei, Kurenai Mars, and Hisako/Phoenix Spark as well as the other Sailor Eclipse Guardians. Kurenai finds good company with Rei and the Sailor Eclipse Guardians, citing Jupiter and Venus as some of her favorite sparring partners outside the Hoo Core Sister circle. Her Phoenix bending style is unique to her but she’s learning to pass her martial arts knowledge to her Hoo sisters.

More art drawn by me. Here’s a few for a series I’m world building called Hoo Core/Eclipseverse.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars are the primary protagonists in this series. The other Marses are variants of Rei linked to Rei’s Hoo Core. The Kamen Rider OC is an AU daughter of Rei.
The full line up of the Hoo Core Sisters led by Rei Hino/Sailor Hoo Mars. In this series, Rei is the wielder of the Hoo Core (akin to the Phoenix Force) that ultimately links her to other Hoo Core Rei/Mars variants. Each Hoo Core sister unique: Rei Hino/Sailor Hoo Mars (center) - the prime core mother of the Hoo Core sisters. Shes the first to acquire a Hoo Core during her first year as Sailor Mars. Wielding dual powers, she becomes as crucial and an equal to Sailor Moon. Overtime Rei’s power matured where she was able to connect with her variants across the multiverse. Shes also learned to adapt and utilize her Hoo power so much she doesn’t need to transform into Sailor Mars as much as she used to. Kurenai Mars - martial artist/monk with a penchant for combat and strong opponents. Not a Sailor Guardian. Little Rei/Tamer Mars - Not a Sailor Guarduan but at the age of 10 is the youngest of the HC sisters. She is a Chosen Child with a Biyomon. Their Hoo Core serves as a catalyst for the child’s growth and Biyomon’s digivolutions. Hisako Hino/Kamen Rider Phoenix Spark - AU future daughter of Rei the Hoo Core wielder. She inherits her mother’s core in her time and her father’s Ruder belt. By integrating the Hoo Core with the Rider system, Hisako transforms into Kamen Rider Phoenix Spark. Concept art of Hisako Hino/Kamen Rider Phoenix Spark, an OC daughter of Rei Hino/Sailor Mars. She is one of the Hoo Core Sisters. Hoo Core/Eclipseverse sketch: I inked my Sailor Ma’at Moon/Sailor Eclipse Moon/Usagi with Luna sketch. In this continuity, Usagi and Prime Rei serve as the primary protagonists in the Hoo Core/Eclipse series as Sailor Ecliose Guardians & Alliance co-leaders, being the driving forces with their Silver Crystal and Hoo Core, and become the co-leaders of the Eclipse Alliance post-Shadow Galactia arc. More Hoo Core/Eclipseverse lore: continuity, the Sailor Eclipse Guardians’s past incarnation backstories are more rooted in ancient Egyptian mythology instead of full Greek. However, some aspects of the Greek Mythology is retained. Hence the design for Sailor Moon’s ‘Eternal’ form here is Egyptian based on the Ma’at - the goddess of balance, truth, justice, and order. She had the scales. Her form presented here is called Ma’at Moon. She goes by Princess Serenity and Princess Ma’at depending who addresses her. Her past lover, now Thoth Mask, was Prince Djehuty. Since Marvel is part of this universe, she and the Sailor Eclipse Guardians do meet Moon Knight (who in the past was Khonsu) later on and link up as allies, with Moon Knight joining the Eclipse Alliance. One of their primary enemies from the past besides the Dark Kingdom is Apocalypse/En Sabah Nur. Luna’s full title in this series is Bastet Luna.

Mike McFarland has passed away at the age of 56 on September 10, 2026 due to his battle with Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. He was a talented voice actor across anime, animated films and gaming. He was most known for Master Roshi, Buggy the Clown, Paul Phoenix, and Charlie Nash.
