I’ve been saying AI for a few weeks, but now that all of the AI techs are raising the alarm:

Yemen. If Bab al-Mandab gets completely out of control, we’re going to see a LOT of bad shit happen. Fertilizer is already hard to come by. Oil prices will skyrocket. Food insecurity is a real possibility.

It’s not hyperbole to say that AI will soon have a strategic impact on national security that rivals nuclear weapons, satellites, precision-guided munitions, etc.

It’s already changed our decision making processes and reshaped cyber warfare, and it’s just getting started.

It really depends on what the Houthis do from here. So far, they’re largely only targeting Saudi shipments, which is bad enough.

My concern is that the next time the US and Iran start bombing, Iran will activate them to close the strait.

If that happens, oil will skyrocket. $200 is possible.

The courts are doing everything they can to keep elections fair.

I think we will likely see more bomb threats - the 2024 model, and potentially see people trying to prevent voting. That’s why I’m urging everyone to vote early if at all possible.

He looks awful. They aren’t letting him talk to most members of Congress anymore. He’s essentially being isolated in the West Wing except for the scripted appearances they’re letting him to.

He’s going to keep flailing and spiraling. Everyone is preparing him to get blown out in the midterms, and it doesn’t look like the courts are going to play ball with his election interference.
