Listen, we all know my mind immediately went to Darkstalkers but honestly, I'm just glad that Capcom after a decade finally realized "Wait... people might like our old franchises... and if we give them the new thing they've been asking for then they might actually buy it."

Capcom is not the only company which has a rich history when it comes to games and a vast back catalogue of fan favourites. The company has said in a recent report that it is currently looking to re-activate IPs which have not had a major new title in years. While the Japanese company wouldn't be drawn into revealing which franchises it intends to revisit, there's quite a few that come to mind.
