Dementia is a nightmare.
When you've been gone from home 77 hours to care for someone with dementia who just got out of the hospital and they are rude and keep telling their family I've done nothing all day...
I have 21 hours to go but I may not make it.

She’s beautiful. 24 years. What a life! 💞💞💞💞
Today we said good-bye to this beloved old girl. She lived 24 years. She was adopted by my Park Avenue mother-in-law in 2002 and lived with her until she died in 2011. Then Velvet joined us. Because she was my lovely bride’s mother’s cat before she was ours, her passing is hard.
