When not traveling around various worlds, sometimes I just let myself relax in my pocket-space of The Hollow Moon, glutting myself on food and drink while, perhaps before heading off to see someone and be a big doughy friend for them to sink into for a while~

After some thought, I decided to write this up as a sort of continuation. Partly for myself, but also for others as a reminder that no matter what we think, there is always at least one person who would feel our departure, and that not everything is melancholy and infinite sadness 🧵 (1/3)
"...Wolfram?...WOLFRAM!" My ears perk up as I hear the resonant timbre of a familiar voice in the distance. "...Jeez, am I slipping away already-" I then stop myself as I think further on the voice. It was much like that of a military officer barking orders the second time my name was called. Crisp and clear, also with a tinge of... British English?? That can't be right. There's only one person I can think of with a vocal profile like that, and it's... I turn around to face the general direction that I heard the voice from, and as I do I can hear the telltale grinding and crunching of dust and stone, along with the heavy thumping footfalls of literally the largest dog that I personally know- "You REALLY know how to make yourself scarce when you want to, eh? Almost thought I had lost your trail for a bit..." The familiar figure is Ronald J. Stone, though in this case he's just Ronnie. Aside from a ballistic vest styled like an old flak-jacket and and a handcannon in a drop leg holster, custom made to fit around his massive tree-trunk thigh, he's in his usual casual fit of cargo pants and a t-shirt, the sleeves of which are barely making it halfway down his biceps even though they're specially sized for him. He's a real sweetheart though, be it when out of combat in a field tent during an expedition, or just in Toronto under the East NA Dome. Helps that he's got lovely, warm colours that are reminiscent of dark fudge and caramel, with blazing orange eyes to punctuate it all. He may be a beast of a rottweiler, but he's one with a really good heart powering it all. "...You FOLLOWED me out here?? The hell made you so bravely determined to come all the way out here of all damned places?" I'm of course still baffled that he's even here, expressing that in my tone. I'm struggling to deduce why he'd even do all this, despite how well I know him. He is really caring and protective of those who are important to him, to the point that he often assists Dwight with medical duties since he has either talent, mastery, or both, in the spirit schools best suited to medicine and medical treatment. But I've NEVER seen him go out of his way like this before... "A-ha, yes well, I suppose I WAS determined to find you indeed, eheheh~" He scratches the back of his head, grinning sheepishly as he looms over me. I'm so used to looking up to meet his gaze that I keep forgetting that my ears are barely higher than his chest, let alone his shoulders. "But that is not the point. From the times that I have seen you around lately, and from what others have told me, your personal attendant included, you seem to be in low spirits these days. I thought maybe I would go out of my way to see if I could help with that, as while people USUALLY come to me, it is those who DON'T come to me despite evidently being in a state of discomfort or suffering of some kind that I worry about most. Seen too many good people slip away in silence and... Well I couldn't bear the thought of that happening with you." Oh my gods. While normally the fact that Trevor gave me up like that AGAIN on its own would piss me off greatly, I didn't even think about how my mood could have been so plain to see. Have I really been so quiet as to drive others to such dire concerns over me too? The intense eye contact and look on his face as he spoke breaks my heart. I have never seen him like this before, with such personal and heartfelt concern, even out in the field. Perhaps that makes sense though, since in situations of potentially active danger it helps to detach one's feelings a bit from the situation. But right now, this is full-attatchment to life and while I knew he's a gentle and loving guy at heart despite some of the absolute brutality he's capable of, I feel like if his emotions right now had literal heat to them, I would probably melt. He really is something else. An absolute gentleman, and a faithful companion.
