So I thought Cregger’s Resident Evil was fine. The first hour is quite good but the last thirty minutes just didn’t work for me. Either way, I think it has great potential as a gateway film for new horror fans.

Finally watched Friedkin’s Sorcerer and will admit I totally slept on this one. Insanely tense set pieces and brilliant performances on the whole. Check this one out if you haven’t already.

Finally watched Evil Dead Burn and it was fine. Of the films in the franchise it’s certainly the weakest of the bunch. I didn’t mind the meanness (and it’s certainly a mean film) but there was just something missing that I think would have really sealed the deal for me.

No better ending to a storied career with the Timbers. Felipe Mira’s run is one for the history books. I will be forever grateful that he choose to spend time with this club. #RCTID
