It's such a weird take considering Sam Ryder took 2nd in a contest many argue he could have won. I'm a Brit, but the UK crying after every Eurovision is getting old. Send in better acts and we'll do better. It's that simple.

I'm very surprised too. She was ranked top 5 in our household. The song is great! BUT, there were about 5 women doing dance/EDM/techno. And of those, there was one that was clearly better than the others.

Honestly, I still listen to Stephania every week and I've never listened to the Sam Ryder song since it aired. Despite the fact that I personally think Ukraine did have the better song, I actually agree with you. Without the additional empathy votes, Sam probably should have/would have won.

SAME! My family and I liked it in the Semi's; it was ok. In the finals we all fell in love with it and it moved way up in our rankings. Deserved win.
