Charlie Kirk deserved to be tortured for decades with female hormones and being called a woman and she/her by everyone around him constantly.

Also irregardless of the reason why these people go into power and the reason why the states got more authoritarian and less socialist the point still stands, they are not examples of socialism and we should not be defending them on that ground.

This is an argument I’ve had to make a lot so please read if interested in how I view “socialist” states as a council communist.
I would argue that the “socialist” states of the past were just bourgeois revolutionaries masquerading as socialists in fact the Soviet Union famously destroyed worker controlled industry and factory committees which formed in the early days of the Bolshevik revolution.
