I've been trying to setup a windows dhcp server vm and connect other vms (windows 10 and linux) to said dhcp server vm in virtualbox and I'm getting nowhere! T_T
I'm teaching myself all of this from scratch and it's hard >_<

why does my windows 10 vm boot up faster than my windows 2016 server vm (the vms are all with the default settings from VirtualBox)? I thought there would be less bloat on the server... It says it's applying the settings, but does that really take that long?

does anyone know why you are allowed to have more chars in the alt text of an image you post vs the text of the post? Does it have to do with the image format? (I am only familiar with PNG and it supports embedded text, but as far as I know it doesn't have a limit, cause you can spam text chunks...)

it takes 14min to prepare to update a 2016 windows server and 7min and 2 reboots to install them. As a Linux user my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

Anyone else weirdly annoyed that trump's bribe is not parallel to it's base? (I know this isn't the thing I should be focusing on, but it irritates me...) (btw, I don't think this is caused by some kind of camera distortion) (src: fortune.com/2025/08/07/a... (from where I got the image))
