Today An Encyclopedia of Scottish Myth, Folklore, and Tradition passed 500,000 words.
Hundreds of entries. Years of research. Countless sources.
Today’s office came with sunshine and a pool, but the work continues wherever I can open my laptop.
Onward to the next 500,000. 🏴

Every research project has an origin story. Mine began with "Over the Sea to Skye", found at the Staffin Museum on Skye. It became my first proper book on Highland folklore and the first step toward "An Encyclopedia of Scottish Myth, Folklore, and Tradition".
