I spent 15 years in corporate and thought that if I ever worked for myself, I’d hate having to sell myself.
Plot twist: I actually like it.
Turns out what I imagined as “selling” is mostly talking to people, getting curious about their problems and then talking about things I know a lot about

Office politics has a bad reputation, mostly because people confuse it with manipulation. So a lot of people pretend they don’t participate in it at all. But the truth is, everyone navigates power, influence, relationships, and perception at work to some extent.

If money and what people think didn't matter, what would you do?

I asked this question inside the community I created last week where we discuss career, business, transition and starting something new. In the first week, 43 people joined! 😆

Modern dating and corporate networking are officially the same thing. 🍷💼

Think about it:
✨ Curated profiles (Tinder vs. LinkedIn)
🤫 Strategic vulnerability
📱 Those awkward “checking in” follow-up texts
🎭 Pretending to be “effortlessly interesting” while optimizing your position

Genuinely asking… for consultancy work, how do you price yourself. I’ve done my research and I know what u should charge but I’d like some advice, especially as I start.

For those of you who started a business with a partner, how did you figure out who does what? My girlfriend and I are building this together and we're learning as we go. Curious whether other people had a framework for it or whether you just worked it out over time. #startup

I just launched a newsletter: The Real Brief

My daughter is 9 and my son is 7. I love them both equally, but the world won’t treat them the same. Not because of talent or ambition. Simply because of gender. Here’s what the data says about her future.

Most men believe the problem is “a few bad men.”

Reality is a spectrum.
Silence. Excuses. Laughing along. Looking away.

Predatory behavior rarely survives on monsters alone. It survives on indifference.

What do you tolerate?

Women are landing triple axels while on their period.

We celebrate the medal.
We ignore the pain.

Half the population bleeds every month.

Saying it’s hard shouldn’t be controversial.

Showing up anyway isn’t weakness.
It’s strength.

In corporate, you can’t always take words at face value. Here’s a small Corporate Translation Guide 😉
“𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙚” Often means no
“𝙇𝙚𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚” This is awkward
“𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜” I disagree, but I’m polite
“𝙇𝙚𝙩'𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣” I want you to agree with me
“𝘾𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠” You ignored what I said earlier
