Three wins in the library this past week...

1) A 2nd grade student had a favorite book in hand. Then, they recommended the series to a classmate, and joyfully escorted the student to the correct shelf. Peer recommendations are magical! It made my heart so happy.

An inspiring read for any person stuck in a rut, going through a life change, and for those dreamers who have not found the step forward needed to make change. I myself am going through a welcome change at work. I look forward to the shake up and wanted to find inspiration for the challenge.

Good day! Finished adding 4 donations to our library, started inventory, a DonorsChoose project funded, and even though it interrupted my sleep I had a brilliant idea. This Cars excerpt will be a perfect example of empathy when talking about collaboration and reflecting on success.

Adding new signs to help my students find nonfiction books = priceless. We still have to make signs for fairytales and languages, then on to fiction. I'm looking forward to the impact and increase in nonfiction reading.

Thank you donors and donorschoose for making this possible.
