Crazy how I went from a workplace that was a hyper-capitalist liberal hellhole, where managers would give lip service to feelings and problems and genuinely laugh in your face, to a workplace that has its problems but has more politically engaging folk and a socialist magazine. #nhs #bristol #ikea

People have lost jobs. As someone who also works in public sector catering, this clearly shows that this right-wing, neoliberal labor does not care for the workers and community members.
We keep banging on about council funding because the end result is this very real, very depressing fraying of the social fabric. Newcastle needs to save £200k so the park cafes close, the staff is let go, and another community anchor goes. To save pennies.

I didn't go. I do think these protest just becoming a pissing competition between the left and right. I think left need focus on areas where we are viewed with more hostility, however show these areas that we are fighting for your interests!
