Celeste has so many custom patterns and I had a long weekend. So the patterns are all hand drawn and painted using Lumiere metallic paints.
The falling star skirt is dyed using dye-na-flow, a foam wedge, and a lot of water to make it look like watercolor.

This outfit is made almost completely from whatever I had. Two tank tops sewn together, layered shorts (shortened the white one), wig from previous May cosplay, and whatever materials I had in my stash. I only bought the belt buckle, yellow webbing, and the lining.

Black Lobelia is complete ✅
I really don't know how Gojo made this so quickly. This cosplay required so much tailoring to get that corset and jacket to sit right plus creating a seamless full circle skirt with ruffles only on the outside. It took me over a month but she's complete now!

Since last week, I got the skirt, hat, and jacket finishes done. The skirt is a full circle skirt with each place ruffle tier being 12ish yards of lace. I ruffled so much lace my ruffler foot broke!

Umi is now finished! It's so shiny and flowy! I've been wanting to make this cosplay since I started cosplaying over 20 years ago. It took me this long to feel my skill was where I needed it to make this and be happy with the results!

More progress on Umi!
Made a new skirt as I didn't like the first one. Skirt is now done. butt cape attached via 4 large snaps.
The belt done too with furniture foam gems & metallic spandex.
Added peach straps to the shoulders to attach overlay details and so I didn't flash anyone at the Con 😂

I knew I needed one since I started reading the manga. He's got an articulated spine inside with wire feet. The body was wrapped with strips of a thrifted blanket then covered with swirl fur I apparently bought at JoAnn in 2019. The eyes do indeed wiggle!

Anime Boston had cool sets out in the hallway and I had to get tea photos! This cosplay is falling apart (it was made quickly and poorly at the time), but I had to take it out for one last hurrah. It lasted 10 years!

This photo was taken on the Queen Mary with a night setting. I could feel the boat rocking the whole time while holding the ropes and it was hard to keep still for the photos. Worth all the trouble!
