Closing out with Resplendent!

One of the most ostentatious show-deathclaws in the running, this gilded beauty was eventually banned from competing when it let out a cry so loud it ruptured the judges' eardrums. Its owner, a ghoul, claimed the radiation emitting from its spread frill was harmless.

A digital illustration of a deathclaw. It is a vivid deep teal with a grey-pink underbelly, white hind legs and tail, and white striping along its neck. Its back crest is obscured by a large spread fan of scales resembling a peacock tail, with a similar double-lobed fan on its tail. Some of its scales and horns are tipped with a strong gold.

A closeup of the previous image, showcasing its head and upper body. Its frill is lit at the center by a bright, toxic green that fades the further out it gets.

Lepidoptera! Just. a bunch of moths

A scale mutation resulting in wafer-thin winglike structures over its upper body, this deathclaw moves with the sound of gently rustling leaves. Its preference for blood often puts it in competition with some of the larger wasteland insects.

A digital illustration of a deathclaw. It is a dull brown with darker scaling, yellow ochre extremities, and a thick tail with a curled tip. Instead of plate scales on its neck and shoulders, it has a cluster of disarrayed moth wings scattered all over. Its tongue is long and curled like a butterfly proboscis.

A closeup of the previous image, showcasing its face, neck, and tail. The pale moth wings have thin red veins across their surfaces.

Finally getting around to cleaning/consolidating all my art files into one main folder and wow does it feel nice to have proper structure & nomenclature. Not to mention the blast from the past, finding some drawings from 2008 onward.

✨🎉 Today I aged!! Here are some moths to celebrate! 🎉✨

Did a quick final detail pass and background on the creature I designed on stream the other day. This is the first of my #BeastieBreakdown series and is based off the wonderful designs seen in #Subnautica2

An aquatic, alien creature loosely resembling a manta ray towards the front. It sports rasping, crushing teeth and hard prongs on its head that are probably used for scraping food off surfaces and digging up small crustaceans. Digital art

seeing companies just put out stuff that would've gotten my pay slashed or got me fired or just not make me worth hiring in the future feels both insulting and a betrayal. like, did anyone even care about brand management or was it just a power trip. I honestly don't know anymore.

*°~ Do be afraid, or else ~°*

There are as many uncountable tales as depictions of infamous Crimson-Eyed Winged Angel; armonic but unnerving chimes like music sounds and blood rain always down pours wherever it goes.

And they say that if you look at it, it's wings stare back at you

Two serpentine dragons nuzzle each other playfully as they fly through the clouds. One is black with spiked horns and a fluffy mane, while the other is light green with antlers and a sleek mane.

Characters are the artist's version of dragon shapeshifter forms for Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu from The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System.

what irks me so much about how both industry and audience treat photorealism or live-action as the final Pokémon evolution of any artistic adaptation, is the implication that the original artists stylized it because they were unable to make it realistic when they made it either bc of skill or means
