For my first artfight I tried making the wonderful @surry.bsky.social character Jef. I learned a lot about blending and blurring while doing this and look forward to learning even more as I continue this journey

While it is mathematically possible, failing EVERY SINGLE dialogue check in Act 1 even after burning through all your inspo before even hitting level 4 is still highly improbable and I'm just nuking the run I spent the last 3.5 hours on now before it pisses me off further

Doing the Elden Ring DLC for the first time ever at NG+5 is probably not the correct move, but I went out and beat up Bayle despite him being able to 2 shot me so that was cool

I'm having a really good time playing Dark Souls for the first time, but my one gripe is that the phrase "NO BACKSEATING" seems to mean nothing to a lot of people. I love how passionate the community is about these games, but please let me make mistakes and miss things. I only get one first time.

Thank you deeply to @goblin-menace.bsky.social , @solaristheowl.bsky.social , and VsheepVal for the raids tonight. We continued to spread the love by raiding in to Vahlanaryu who was also doing their first Dark Souls playthrough. It's been so amazing to keep meeting so many lovely people

Made it to Blight Town and only had a profanity laced crash out ONCE. Couldn't even be mad once I finally got the bonfire down there though

Took longer than expected to get back in to the swing of things, but we've got the new Live 2D and name going right now. Going to be back at Dark Souls tomorrow because putting my failures out online is now a hobby I guess.

Between dealing with immigration, finding a new apartment to live in, organizing the move to said apartment, and now trying to get my ISP to move my service address I've been somewhat absent from the Internet this month. March should fix that. Also PATHFINDER game tomorrow so that's hella cool

To recap, I have purchased THREE replacements for my broken headset and none of them have worked so I just need to complain a little to feel better about it

Find decently priced audio interface and XLR microphone. Overjoyed. The solder for one of the connections on the mic is broken and it no longer transmits audio. I do not have the tools to fix it and I'm frankly tired of spending money on things to keep have them not work
