It's strange how Democratic Socialists - who are being denounced by both parties - turned major deficits into balanced budgets in both New York and Seattle.
BREAKING: In Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson's new proposed city budget being released Tuesday, there is no projected deficit through 2030. Given the state of the projected deficit over the past many years, this is quite an achievement.

“Why are young [AFAB folks] using walking sticks?” Well, f*ck, I literally almost got run over by THREE cars on my 15-minute walk to bring my husband lunch bc I didn’t have a mobility aid that would command drivers’ respect, so they just kept driving toward me, expecting me to leap out of their way
