Im unteren Bereich stehen die R-Werte der Fallmeldungen (nach Berichts- und Meldedatum, weil mal das eine, mal das andere plausibler ist) und der AMELAG-5W-Mittel und der R-Wert der normalisierten AMELAG-Daten. Seit Mitte Juni steigen die Fallmeldungen, die Inzidenz inkl. DZF und die Viruslast im Abwasser wieder deutlich an. Im Rückgang der normalisierten AMELAG-Daten (Stand 1.9.26) sehe ich noch keinen Trendwechsel. Zur Wahrheit gehört aber auch, dass Viruslast und Inzidenz niedriger sind als im Sommer 2025 (siehe linke Grafik).

Die Krankenstände der Arbeitnehmer*innen in Österreich sind zwar um 2,7 % zurückgegangen, aber die
Krankenstandszahlen sind weiterhin höher als vor COVID.
Atemwegserkrankungen haben zugenommen.

So ist es übrigens auch in Deutschland.

Sowohl in der ZNA als auch im Rettungsdienst herrschte die ganze letzte Woche Ausnahmezustand. Von Neugeborenen über 20-40- bis hin zu fast 100-jährigen habe ich alles gesehen an Hitzebetroffenen inklusive mehrerer Tote.
Ich arbeite seit 2000 im Krankenhaus und habe das noch nie so schlimm gesehen.

As a kid riddled with insecurity and internalized ableism, I could not see a path forward. It was thanks to friendships and some great teachers who believed in me that I was able to fight my way out of miserable situations into a place where I finally felt comfortable in my skin. We need more stories about us and our culture. You all, we all, deserve the everything and more in such a hostile, ableist environment. Our wisdom is incisive and unflinching. I'm honored to be your ancestor and believe disabled oracles like us will light the way to the future. Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all.
