As Michael Owen is getting a lot of stick, I will defend him for noticing me trying to sneakily take a photo of him from afar at Chester races back when he was mega famous and he walked over to say “do you want a picture together?” I have no idea where that (printed) photo is but anyway he was nice

It makes my heart happy when people at the bus stop silently let each other on the bus in the order they arrived despite not standing in a queue. It’s my favourite thing about the UK, up there with pubs,dry roast peanuts and Robinson’s squash
