Great thanks so much!

Ooh thanks! Ebsco is my usual go to for social Sciences and some humanities, so even just getting updates on it would be a good start.

Man I kinda wish I was on the database team here so I got updates like these. I have to like search out this info if I want it. We all get info on new databases added, but not updates for existing subscriptions unless they are like the entire interface is changing.

Noooooooo

Its especially frustrating that the companies cant decide if its a free feature or not and keep putting it on/taking it away. It is creating whiplash in explaining the databases to patrons when its different every time I log on.

I am assuming ebsco does have it but from memory it is less in my face than places like proquest/elsevier.

I need to look at stats to see what circs beyond the big fantasy series (Maas, Yarros, GRRM etc.). I did see T. Kingfisher's stuff is all out when looking to see if i should get the Astarion novelisation. So standalone fantasy too. Sci-fi and romance seem to be on shelf a lot but I need stats lol.

I've recently gotten into Kevin Wilson. He includes trauma, but like in a lighter way than some folks and they all end with hope. Nothing to See Here was my favorite so far.

I did shelving, shifting, shelf reading, hold pulling in undergrad and it was super chill. When I stuck around my boss started putting me on projects to deduplicate the collection including serials and I learned a ton about catalog searching thats helped in reference work.

They sound extra dumb with Mamdani over there showing up every single past nyc mayor and most mayors of other major cities by getting shit done immediately and consistently.

Well at least the sites who wont run the Islamophobic crap that the republican opposition is spewing. Yes the dude who loved american football and was a Rhodes scholar is gonna put in place sharia law. *roles eyes so hard they fall out of my head*

Oh the bus is running early so better not. I will be tempted when it gets colder out though lol.
