I think it’s fair to ask whether or not he knows that he’s lying. If he’s lying it’s disgraceful, if he isn’t, it’s still worriesome. 😳

I just think candidates, elected officials should be held to a higher standard. To assume they have no agency is what’s ‘infantilizing’. Asking them to earn votes that they are not entitled to isn’t much to ask.

The "fall out" doesn’t register with you either, you’re just looking for someone to blame. In that case, hold the candidates responsible not the voters. 😒
