our job is concrete in the way that clouds are immutable, but what gives us the most thorough and lasting joy is seeing where people can truly begin living as themselves, where the shackles of self-loathing and dysphoria are shed even briefly and the true self can be shared.

Watched TADC finale, and... A friend who has known me for longer than I've been myself said that he saw me in *spoiler*... And I could too. I saw exactly where he was coming from, and exactly what could have happened. Second life lost, new outlook on life gained. Still not done making it worth it :3

I'm expecting to need another candle soon, and another charm. It's never a pleasant thing to think of, but... Where I am, I can only do so much to help the people I care for. The least I can do is to carry their memory.

I don't talk about work stuff publicly much at all, but... I had an opportunity to run a weekly team meeting and that was so damn exciting, because not only was I trusted to be able to actually take the lead, but I'm also considered senior enough to do so.
Just... Exciting. ^w^

I don't talk about work stuff publicly much at all, but... I had an opportunity to run a weekly team meeting and that was so damn exciting, because not only was I trusted to be able to actually take the lead, but I'm also considered senior enough to do so.

The day started with a couple anxiety attacks and some major trauma being brought up for my partners, and... Now, we are having discussions about Monster Hunter monster genders and pronouns while eating pizza and joking around.
The recovery is the important part, and the joy with it is worth it. <3

Like, for any given work calls, I'm there around 3-6 AM if I'm lucky, and need to be asleep by 9 so I can rest before work XD

Started watching Pokemon Journeys with my partner to teach her more about the series, and it's quite fun! Getting more of an appreciation for good kids' media as I grow older, heh. It's more fun to see her opinions on the world grow as she experiences it through different lenses!
