Every couple months we visit downtown San Salvador, and every time there’s something new.
Today we saw a new bicycle station, shopping promenade, and university building. Last time, a hotel and restaurants.
Hard to believe this was once the most dangerous city in the world.

The speed at which the EU has destroyed its international credibility is astonishing. I’ve been living abroad for a decade and watched people’s opinion of EU leadership tumble around me in real-time; gradually, then suddenly.
