Phew, not even 10am and 27.6° indoors after a night of wide open windows. Blinds down, can't make it any darker in here. The next 3 days are going to be rough. Roll on next week and back down to mid twenties 🥵

The snow days are nearly over here in Hannover, our cat is the most fed up of everyone and just wants her balcony back to normal.

Having a lazy Sunday with Lilly our senior cat, last Sunday was the same except the Schützenvereine marched down our street. Need to get more motivated to actually get out and do something nice.

Made Aloo Chop, 2 different ways. One dipped in gram flour pakora style, one crispy version coated in flour/semolina.

I remember thinking, half a year ago or so, how great everything is going and then suddenly and since then, it wasn't 😒
I'm having a rough go of it lately, and have been thinking: everyone is going through something, and you have no idea what it is, or how it's affecting them.
Quote post this is if you're going through something, and maybe we'll all realize that we aren't as alone as we feel right now.

Well, we might get a salad or two from my small balcony garden yet. Planted late so I'm guessing some time late August 😆

We've been in Germany for decades and no idea how this happened, but we never tried Feuerzangenbowle before today. Ten out of ten 😊.

I put chard seeds in my flower boxes at the end of summer flower season and they're thriving even after the first frost. We'll see how long they last #gardening #balconygarden 🍽🌱

We met our daughter today for a walk around the city xmas market. In Hannover you meet 'under the tail' of king Ernst August's horse outside the main station.

This cold weather really messes with my osteoarthritic finger joints. I keep forgetting to try and appreciate that I'm in the jeunesse de ma vieillesse 🤔 #old

Ooh, over here it's like when you move to a new city and you don't know anyone or how to get around. Do we even use hashtags here 😬
