This week is #GSB4 #GSB2026, the highlight of the soil biodiversity calendar!

#GSB26 @GSBI was a great success! My take homes are 18O tracing is cool. Soil inoculations are outdated, but adding syncomms or natcomms are hip and happening. @lindolab.bsky.social thanks for organizing!

Currently at my first @gsb2026.bsky.social conference! Loving this discussion about QUALITY over quantity - we need more [funding for] fundamental science, b/c that’s what populates our databases that *so*much* microbial eco is based off now.
