We posit lingua linguans or language languaging as our first principle and take it as axiomatic that language (noun) does language (verb) and that from that first principle we can derive an ontology, an epistemology, an aesthetics and an ethics, in terms of an academic fiction a la Jorge Luis Borges

The glorious train ascending:
He through Heaven,
That opened wide her blazing
portals, led
To God's eternal house direct

A broad and ample road, whose
dust is gold
And pavement stars, as stars
to thee appear,
