Hello. I’m giving BlueSky another try. Not sure how active I’ll be over here, but I’m tired of doomscrolling. Will be muting any & all things politics related. I can’t cope with it anymore. I just want to be in an online space that doesn’t constantly trigger me, if that’s even possible these days.
Popping to Asda first as we need a few cleaning supplies. I’m really pleased with how much progress we’ve made with the house this week. There was so much clutter everywhere that had accumulated over the years. We’ve sorted through so much of it.

I spoke with my husband about the school thing & he said it is absolutely something to be concerned about. So it’s not just me.
The house is looking loads better. I think I want some fairy lights for our bedroom too 😂 the kids’ room looks so pretty. We are tackling the kitchen today.

Pleased with the cleaning we got done. We put up some fairy lights in the kids’ room too & it looks so pretty & cosy. They’re both happy with them. It feels Christmassy.

Bit pissed off with something to do with the school, but I’m not sure if it’s just my own trauma issues getting in the way, or a legitimate concern. I’ll talk it through with my husband this evening when both kids are asleep.

Just in bed with youngest now. She’s nearly asleep, then I’ll sneak out and bring eldest up. We’ve had a productive day today. I’m pleased with what we’ve got done. There’s still lots to do, but we’ve made good progress.

Halfords sorted the brake light for us on the car today. Stopping cleaning now. We’ve dropped a fair few bags of to the charity shops. Will do more cleaning jobs tomorrow. I’m pleased with what we got done. Just want to see the kids now. Not long til they finish school.

Our brake light is out on the car, so that needs sorting this week. There always seems to be something going wrong with the car lately. We were without it for a while earlier this year. It was a pain in the arse.

Got an email saying unusual activity on my Microsoft account. So that’s Microsoft and my gmail within the same week? Don’t understand why. I’ve strengthened security on both accounts, so hopefully that’s it sorted now. Not sure how someone keeps trying to use my accounts. Confusing me.

Gonna try for some sleep now. It’s a bit nippy tonight. Might have to start putting the heating on this month if it stays like this. Not sure if any more heatwaves are forecast, or if we’re actually in Autumm properly now.

In a way I’m looking forward to getting cracking with it all, because some of this is stuff we’ve put off sorting for ages. I’ll feel a lot better once the house is tidier & less cluttered.
We’re all looking forward to going to the caravan. It’ll be a welcome change of scenery.

We have a busy few days or so coming up. Lots of cleaning jobs in preparation for grandad coming to look after the cat when we go to a caravan next Monday. Also, something happening before that this Thursday too, which means we need it tidy too. There’s so much to sort and take to the charity shop.

We’re at grandad’s watching the football. We went to play football/basketball on the court again as we usually do on Sundays. Had the court to ourselves again. My hand is sore today. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather? Never had a nerve injury before this one, but the cold does seem to affect it.

Just on the way home. We went to grandad’s for a bit & also went to a few places to see if the wallet has been handed in, but no sign of it. Eldest is listening to the football match. Youngest is going to help me bag up some old clothes for the charity shop.

No sign of the wallet. We’ve temporarily frozen our bank cards to give us more time tomorrow to see if it turns up, but if no sign of it, then we’ll cancel the cards.

Daughter is fast asleep. Eldest is just trying to go over now. I’ve got some slipper socks on tonight. It’s a bit chilly. I’ll be getting straight in bed once my eldest is asleep. Paracetamol is helping with the cramps.

Husband has gone out to see if his wallet was handed in at the local shops & also to check it didn’t fall out when he was at his dad’s earlier. Hope it turns up. His drivers license is also in there. Nobody’s tried using our bank cards though which is a good sign I guess.

Husband has lost his wallet. He’s trying to retrace his steps, but no luck yet. It has our bank cards in there, some cash, a few receipts we needed, some photos & other little bits and bobs. Really hoping it turns up somewhere at home 😖🙏🏻

Had a bath with my youngest though earlier and the warmth helped a bit. She enjoys me getting in the bath with her bless her. It’s very cute.

I have some uncomfortable ovulation pain this evening. Nothing too bad, but it’s unusual for me. Paracetamol will be enough though. It’s more uncomfortable than painful. It’s just unusual for me that’s all. It’s usually just my periods themselves that are uncomfortable.

Not feeling great today. Not sure why. Maybe leftover feelings from yesterday. It’s Friday though, so trying to focus on the upcoming weekend with the kids.
