though many have debated this over the years, scientists have decided that the most fulfilling thing to happen in someone’s life is “receive an essay length comment on an artistic work you made meticulously analyzing it and appreciating it”

The cover art for Glory to Scotoma was inspired by retinal photography, and how while the 3 tracks were being written, wolf spiders were showing up in the apartment often. When looking at the image taken from my eye, I thought the blood vessels resembled a spider crawling out from the nerve. - Liv

Whenever I get toward the end putting out a music project, I find myself confronting just how massive the gap in production quality is between it and what's out there. Pulling up reference tracks and hearing how much louder, clearer, and more pleasant they are gets so demoralizing.

It's starting to bother me a bit more how many people in proximity to me I still see using Spotify. Please stop, every artist with a conscience has been begging you guys for ages now!

Finally finished Metroid Prime 4. What a rollercoaster of emotions that gave me. Very much a game where I will fondly remember the journey and try not to think about the destination too much.
Really did love the game, but that ending/post credits bit is really not what I wanted from this story.

I'm starting to think that Nintendo devs have this rule in the office where if they're ever horny while working on a game, they get transferred to the 4th floor (the containment zone where they make Fire Emblem and Xenoblade games to get it out of their system)

please change to anything but spotify. like there’s a bigger shift that it’d be nice if people did with actually owning music again but the lowest effort thing you can do today right now is just change to literally any other streaming service. playlist converters exist.
Parasite becomes aggressive.
Sure all the musicians looking at our £0.0003 Spotify payouts for our work are delighted this is what our fans’ money went towards instead, and the fans equally pleased.
Artists are always very in favour of war, traditionally.
