Reward for doing things that fuel my soul: use of new jar vacuum sealer 4 produce (so we can see what we have (experiment in progress on freshness claims) & dirt therapy (aka…gardening) in my PJ pants. I don't think people understand that if you shut down the government, ICE and CBP do NOT shut down. They're funded by supplemental money from the BBB. That's why dems are separating the DHS funding bill and asking for restrictions. I want them to demand a rescission of that funding or shut DHS down

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

Recognizing that some are completely disconnecting from the news or gaslighting themselves to make it not about them (it IS about us all), this is for those of us that remain human, humane, and likelymorw than a tad overwhelmed…it is worth the read. HUGS!
