Hiya hi, Bluesky!!
I'm Chec, a #digitalartist from Australia!

I like to make #OCs, doodle OCs, think up story settings, and shade/render like my life is on the line.

I look forward to meeting you all! ♪

I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

Like I will always say- bsky has it's issues and I don't expect people to come here when they leave twitter, but at the very least LEAVE TWITTER. It's even just helped my mental health not being on there anymore, which tbh has helped my art and work.

Please stop using Twitter

I promise you that your engagement there is not authentic viewership. Statistically, it has been proven to be as much as 70% bot interactions.

I am sorry for sharing something kind of upsetting but it genuinely frustrates me to see people glaze over when I say this stuff

i’m sorry if it hits your reach and thus your livelihood to drop a platform but if you were a merchant and the biggest place to sell your wares was Wacky Mike’s Child Porn (and other stuff) Emporium I bet you would just take the hit.

I love making unique characters, but sometimes you gotta revert to your 2009 middle school self and make 4 characters that realistically are all the same person slightly to the left in different universes/media--

theres a difference between "this has been discussed ad nauseam and continuing to bring it up atp serves no purpose/is only going to ignite useless arguments" and "continuing to recontextualize concepts of old story beats is good and healthy for discussion"

Okay, I did it! I'm now offering translations/localizations for games.

At the moment I'll only offer translations for visual novels and RPG Maker games.

I put a general rate but it's still negotiable (as long as I don't get offered peanuts for translating an extremely long game).
-Game Translations- I offer translation services for indie games. These can be either from English to Latam Spanish or from Latam Spanish to English. I have previously translated a few stories from the mobile game company Favary Inc and one of my own games (Where Winter Crows Go). I intend to translate (most of) my other games too. While the title says "translation", what I do is more of a localization process, since certain things in stories can't be literally translated. Therefore, I always look for the best way to convey the intended meaning. -Rates- My rates are negotiable, especially for indie projects that have a limited budget. But, overall, here is a general idea: ‣ Writing: $0.05 per word. ‣ QA: $0.02 to $0.05 per word. ‣ Game Translations: $0.02 to $0.05 per word. Note for the last 2: It also depends on how long your game is. -Terms of Service- ◆ Payments must be made in USD through PayPal. Invoices preferred. ◆ I typically ask for 50% of the payment before I start working and 50% once it's finished. Work will only start after I receive the first 50%. ◆ Refunds will only be possible if I cannot finish the work. Once the work is finished, I do not accept refunds. ◆ I won't provide any services for projects that use AI, AI-created assets or NFTs. ◆ I don't write NSFW or romance involving incest and/or adults with minors. ◆ At the moment, I only translate visual novels and RPG Maker games. ◆ For translation jobs, please provide me with a Google Sheet/Excel with every single text in the game that you want me to translate. There should be a column next to the main language titled with the language you want me to translate to (English or Latam Spanish). ◆ If you want me to incorporate the translation into your game myself, this needs to be discussed beforehand and will make the price go up.

A graphic with a photo of myself in the center of the image surrounded by 8 digital art pieces that I created. A digital painting featuring three tents in a forest as a campfire burns between them at nighttime. The only sources of light—the campfire, the moon, and the fireflies scattered about the scene—softly illuminate the tents, grass, and surrounding evergreens. A large, bearded monster with glowing eyes and great tusks can also be seen looming in the distance. A digital painting featuring Yugiri Mistwalker from Final Fantasy XIV standing with her back turned to the viewer, outstretching her arm for a falcon that is about to perch as she stands on a tiled rooftop in the city of Kugane. Across from her is Kugane Tower, a massive wooden structure that touches the clouds. Other birds seem to be flocking to the tower as they soar across the orange sunset.
