I have the super-size model, and there's something special about grey and white cats. They are the sweetest, most lovable, head butting creatures. Hope this kitten grows into a big love bug!

On Boston Common every year, volunteers plant a flag for every Massachusetts service member who has given his or her life in service to American democracy since 1775. This year, the number totals 37,000. Reflect, remember, honor. We have a sacred duty as citizens to be informed, to vote and to help all those eligible to vote, too.

Several of the former Royall slaves became prominent members of the Medford community. This building is the only surviving slave quarters in the Northern US. I saw an interview with Ms Bailey at The Grey. She is one superwoman force! That restaurant in the former Greyhound bus station reminded me of the station in Akron, OH. Such interesting architecture for the masses to enjoy. So appreciative that she saw that, too and delighted in it!

What is it about large framed grey cats? Here's street cat Salvi at his 1 year gotcha vet appointment - owning the place and not being thrilled with the diet he's about to start.😼
Salvi, a very large, medium haired grey and white cat is sprawled out on the floor of the vet's exam room. Pre-diet and after a year of filling out his emaciated 11.5 pound street weight with Fancy Feast and all sorts of good food, he weighed in at 22 pounds.

Response from MASCO about my complaint at being almost deliberately hit by a Longwood shuttle. Flashing yellow lights, midway in a crosswalk. Got the plate, but not the bus, no. Made close-up eye contact w/ the driver/perpetrator.

She has never allowed touching of any kind for her 12 years with me since kittenhood. But now she's hopping up to visit, and she's out and about instead of her usual hidey-holing.😻

Gloucester lost the fishing vessel, Lily Jean, this morning. Seven souls aboard, and one body recovered. Empty life raft found and no survival suits on board. USCG is still out searching and will through the night.💔

Sad news: my semi-feral cat, Maestro Salzedo, died overnight resting in his favorite scratch box. At around 14 years old, he was the most timid, indoor only cat who couldn't be petted until late this year. He was a true sweetheart, and I'll miss him saying "hi" to me every day.💔

Aha! My semi-feral kiddo will only eat, but demands it constantly, Market Basket shredded three cheese blend and shredded 4 cheese Mexican blend. Half of my MB trips are for her special food demands.
