If Katy Cornell is trying to convince voters that she can separate herself from her church once she is in office, it is a hard sell when you put someone in your campaign video that you have commissioned as an apostle, runs a church you planted and built, and gives sermons at your church.

In the video, Romeo mentions that he has seen Katy Cornell bring people of different cultures and faiths together, however we also know from Walk In The Light International's own video posts that her nonprofit has shifted to trying to only work with people of their faith in their schools & clinics.
Here's Tom Cornell for WITLI in 2025 stating that they switched gears to partnering only with people who have discipleship from them or their disciples. The changes to the nonprofit happened soon after launching SOZO NW and its School of Supernatural Ministry, which they brought to Burkina Faso.
