Lovely day at Nosterfield today. Watched a Red Kite chilling out in front of North Hide for about 20 mins before if flew off when crows annoyed it. @teesbirds.bsky.social

So many birds at Bolton on Swale from hide. Could hear all the geese from the parking area. Hundreds of Greylags with One Egyptian Goose. At least 350 Curlew and nearly as many Lapwing with starlings and at least 16 Pochard. @teesbirds.bsky.social

Spent am amazing hour with the most obliging Silver Washed Fritillary we have ever seen (only seen one before) but at the same place Thorpe Perrow. It was at its best as the sun was blocked by the clouds. It even landed on Micks head momentarily. @teesbirds.bsky.social @nybirdnews.bsky.social

Went to Nosterfield today. When we arrived it had clouded up so didn't expect to see the White Letter Hairstreaks in flight. Within minutes we managed to see one mid-way up the tree which sat for quite a while before walking out of sight. @nosterfieldnr.bsky.social @teesbirds.bsky.social
