Many are saying this. You’re hearing “I read Metal From Heaven by August Clarke on Stella’s recommendation and I will never be the same” more and more
@antlervel.vet Thank you for the Metal From Heaven recommendation. Felt like I was launched at 10G and now I'm left stunned, wobbling around

Lily Wachowski is so cool.

Most celebrities use high profile interviews to be like "it was such a pleasure to work with so and so on such and such" and she's like "JK Rowling funds trans genocide and Elon Musk is a fascist misrepresenting my work to destroy the planet"

Let her make more movies.

Know the signs:

LMAO — “Late Modernist, Ambiguous Ontology”

BRB — “Bildungsroman, Basically”

IDK — “In Denial, Kafkaesque”

NGL — “Narrator’s Getting Loose”

WYD — “What’s Your Diegesis”
Literary fiction is coming. It is going to revolutionize the economy. We know that China has already got a start on literary fiction. We can’t afford to be left out of the literary fiction economy. Think of your kids. They might already be engaging with literary fiction.

it's sad that prejudice blinds people to how bad driving isn't a matter of ethnicity, but of being from Maryland.
"ah, it must be an armenian, they can't drive!" = vietnamese-am girl

"ah, it must be vietnamese, they can't drive!" = armenian-american girl

both from same college, just different days

I have a theory that when designing a social simulation / generator, it can be useful to keep in mind a story you’d like your system to be able to organically generate. not every system should generate the same story but I have a short list of high-salience interesting stories I reach for. (1/2)
