The Pope sent the White Sox a letter blessing them and they just advanced past the first round of the playoffs for the first time since they won the World Series over 20 years ago. I haven't been a practicing Catholic in decades but them winning the World Series might me make reconsider things. 😂🤔

It's my last night in a cabin in the woods. I explored every inch of every trail back to front at least twice in two days. That was two 11 mile hiking days. I am very glad I took the rest of the week off because my heart is full from nature, but I am coming back more exhausted, and my body is weary.

I am about to leave for my 3rd consecutive annual solo birthday trip to spend 3 nights in a cabin in the woods. My birthday was in July and I was supposed to go the day after it, but Walter died 4 days before my birthday and it wasn't the right time for me to be alone like that.

Since Walter died (over 10 weeks already now 😭), I have really struggled with knowing how to be on here and IRL. I have wanted to post things so many times on here because I do want connection and to engage, but even basic thoughts feel impossible. It's like I've forgotten how to people.

I got to meet Sean Evans and go full Sean Evans/Hot Ones fangirl with my own Sean at the special Hot Ones White Sox game yesterday. What a lovely day and event. I was genuinely joyful for the first time in many months. A much-needed day out at the ballpark. 🖤🤍
