Our school's IT director had an absolute stiffy for Apple products - this was the late 90s, so the iMac had just dropped, and more was on the horizon.

Getting another batch of stuff out of the old place is tough enough on short notice. Doing it in the heat, with active sciatica, is literally a pain in the ass. But it needs to be done - the people who should be telling me important things, aren't, and I can't just sit on my laurels.
