I'm afraid he got his tense wrong. We HAD a high-IQ president who knew how to approach complex issues with intelligent analysis, who put equally intelligent folks around him, and who didn't base every relationship on how he benefitted. This one is the complete opposite.

Just FYI, the literature on leadership will tell you that true, effective leaders always take responsibility for what they do and the consequences that arise from that. They also do not lay blame perpetually at others' feet. We have no true leaders in this government. Not One.

I stand corrected. Kentucky passed a law in 2024 that prevents the Governor from doing this.
Had he any integrity at all, he would have resigned his seat but of course he doesn't as he would not allow Gov Beshear to appoint anyone to fill it.
