I had a wonderful time visiting friends in Victoria. I splurged and stayed two nights at the Fairmont Empress, whose gardens are amazing. I also dropped by Bolen Books to sign copies of Confluence. Especially meaningful was my visit with the son of Alex’s best friend, and his lovely family. #canlit
