PSO2 had this with your literal alts and friends' characters, and I've ALWAYS wanted that for XIV.
My wife and I each had two characters. If I was playing alone I could make a party of her two and my alt. If we were together we could each bring the other's alt.
I would love something like that!

Same reason my wife gets tanks that are allergic to mitigation, and I get DPS that are allergic to using AoE skills in packs.

I choose to believe it's a universal translation feature of linkpearls. They could be speaking an entirely different language, but we hear them "dubbed" into Eorzean.

I am just the opposite. By all means, call me whatever it takes to remember be. Langsley has to date known by Langs, Lan, Lang Lang, Bob, Maytag Man, Bargain Bin Izaya (you forget to dye your Rebel Coat *ONE* time...) and probably some I'm forgetting!
