3/ this wasn't a cash grab at least not in the way it feels. it's people who played the original making something for people who didn't so that those new people could wear the same rose tinted glasses the devs had on. It's real nostalgia packaged for someone who didn't experience the subject.

It is a remaster btw. this new version does have some real updates to it but, remakes change the feel of a game but... I don't think this does and I've played well over 1000hrs of the original. It's the same game the same jank, and despite their protests the same mod support.
