Yesterday I attended a Guided Healthy Shopping Tour that was interesting. I had no idea you can make your own nut butter at the store from scratch. That might be fun to try sometime.

No more watching Y&R and B&B live, even though I didn’t post about them much this summer. Back to streaming Y&R in the evenings and B&B when I can squeeze it in. Tomorrow starts preservice week for the new school year!

The Forresters were totally cruel to Katie today. How can they not see that all she’s ever wanted was for them to be proud of her? Nonetheless, I think Heather Tom found her Emmy reel for next year. She’s stellar at bringing on the tears as Katie!

B&B actually had a good ending today! As far as I’m concerned, Will was totally goaded into throwing that punch, & it’s not his fault that Eric got in the way & accidentally got hit. Yet all of those Forresters are acting like he’s an unhinged maniac. So bizarre!

I think Electra Forrester has been written as the dumbest soap opera character ever. I think I’ll be fast-forwarding her scenes until I read somewhere that the writers have finally given her a brain.

On Y&R, I can see why Burrow would take Patty & Diane down to the station. He doesn’t know Patty’s history, so of course he’d have to question both of them. Surely they’d check the knife for fingerprints though. Patty wore a glove, but I don’t remember Diane ever touching it.

I wonder if The Bold & The Beautiful is deliberately trying to get the viewers to not like the Forresters. If that’s the case, it’s working on this viewer. Every single one of them is driving me batty.

Now THAT’s doom & gloom! Y&R’s Nikki just got the news about a mass on her optical nerve. Surgery could lead to blindness & so could leaving it alone. She might as well tell Victor & see the best specialists. But will she? Probably not. That would decrease the drama. 😉

I’m glad Hallmark has tons of reruns. This first aired during last season’s Countdown to Christmas, but I fell asleep back then. I stayed awake for it today, & it was really cute!

I see some things never change on B&B. Haven’t watched in maybe a month. Yet it’s always Hope standing around with her mouth open, looking confused no matter what the storyline is.

I’m about a month behind on Y&R. I’ll probably start fresh on Monday instead of catching up. Should I try watching any of the crossover w/ Beyond the Gates? Any Y&R characters impacted by the tornado storyline? (I’ve only seen 1 episode ever of that show.)

Okay, I just caught up on Y&R. I had read that Patty Williams was coming back to the show, but I figured she'd be stuck in a mental illness storyline with Mariah. This is WAY better! I can't wait to see what happens next!
